Alternative labour technique

Making it ‘Easi’ to give birth

Based on NLP and life-coaching techniques, Easibirthing is the UK version of the US-based Hypnobirthing approach, and it helps pregnant women develop tools to remain focused and in control during labour. Working on eliminating negative beliefs, the classes teach self-hypnosis and relaxation strategies to give mums-to-be the best chance of a stress- and pain-free, natural delivery. Easibirthing instructor Dessi Kassab recommends attending a class when you discover you’re pregnant and then continuing from 20 weeks. Dh3,500 per couple for a five-session course, contact 055 365 4555 or Dessi is also hosting two FREE intro sessions at The Change Initiative on December 4 and 18, 10.30-11.30am.
