Although public parks are gradually opening up post-lockdown in Dubai, the public beaches remain closed for the time being. And, although private beaches are now open, they are only allowed to be used by hotel guests and it’s not possible to purchase day access – meaning that the only way to get your socially distanced seaside fix in Dubai is by booking in for a staycation.

Dubai’s longest private beach is 800 metres long and can be found at JA The Resort, just 20 minutes from Dubai Marina. They also have a budget-friendly offer on at the moment; starting from just Dh396 per night, a special offer for UAE residents means that guests will also receive the full price of the stay in credit to spend in restaurants, bars and across the JA The Resort network.

On top of the 800 metres of sandy beach to enjoy, the resort offers a selection of outdoor activities, natural wildlife such as deer and peacocks, and multiple restaurants and bars in which to spend their complimentary credit.

With full social distancing measures in place, credit can be spent clay pigeon shooting at the JA Shooting Club, on the 9-hole, par 35 championship standard golf course with floodlit driving range, at the award-winning pan-Asian signature restaurant White Orchid or at the Sports Café for a casual lunch overlooking the stunning private marina. While some facilities remain closed for now due to government directives, guests still have options and use their credit for activities such as horse-riding, in the Captains Bar, La Fontana restaurant or on the 4 floodlit tennis courts, squash and badminton courts.

The beach villa-suites are family friendly, and have spacious terrace balconies with direct access to the expansive beach. Meanwhile the suites offer privacy among lush greenery whilst still situated close to all of JA The Resorts’ attractions.

In the interest of guest health and safety, JA Resorts and Hotels says they have mapped the entire guest journey from check-in to check-out to ensure that every possible precaution is taken regarding sanitization, guest temperature checks, social distancing signage and low contact service interactions, in addition to following all Ministry of Health guidelines.
